EIA: Rising US oil supply forecast to cut prices in 2021
The US Energy Information Administration says the expectation of lower oil prices later in the year comes from rising oil supply that will slow the pace of global oil inventory withdrawals
High global oil inventory levels and spare production capacity also will limit upward price pressures, with the EIA expecting Brent prices will average $55 per barrel in 2022, $2 per barrel more than previously forecast
