About 20 seafarers, mainly Indian, have been on a hunger strike since January, because of overdue wages owed by the Qatari owner of the bulk carrier they have been abandoned on
Repeated attempts to resolve the situation have fallen on deaf ears, and the handysize bulker remains at Shuaiba port in Kuwait, where it has been stationed since April last year
