Euronav aims to have newbuild suezmax pair ammonia-ready
The acquisition of the scrubber-fitted pair sees the continuation of Euronav's engagement in resale deals that grow the company's fleet but not the global orderbook
Crude tanker owner Euronav will spend $113m for the newbuild suezmax pair that could run on LNG and even potentially ammonia in the future. The ships are set to be delivered from South Korea in 2022
