Oriental Energy linked with VLGC orders at Jiangnan
Shenzhen-listed Oriental Energy is said to be in talks with the Chinese shipyard Jiangnan for two new liquefied petroleum gas carriers. The deal, which includes options for four more similar vessels, is not signed yet but is expected to be sealed ahead of the Chinese New Year break
Sources familiar with the deal confirm the orders include two firm 93,000 cu m very large gas carriers, with options for another four. The liquefied petroleum gas carriers are scheduled to be delivered in 2023
