MSC joins Hydrogen Council as steering member
The top shipping line joins other major lines such as CMA CGM and NYK in the global initiative that pushes hydrogen’s use in a clean energy transition. Apart from pioneering the use of biofuels as bunker, MSC will also collaborate on exploring the viability of hydrogen and fuels derived from it as potential fuel sources for container shipping
Among other big names linked to the Hydrogen Council are the Port of Rotterdam and industrial players such as SABIC, Anglo American and Uniper, as well as most of the major oil companies
