South Korea could spend around $870m between 2022 and 2031 to promote the development of innovative full emissions cycles technologies for shipping
The shipbuilding nation expects to have technologies that can reduce a vessel's greenhouse gas emissions by at least 70% compared to today. LNG and electricity are seen as key enablers of the energy transition for the country
