Small-scale LNG on the brink of breakthrough

Break-bulk LNG infrastructure development looks set to take off in Pakistan following the start-up of a small-scale project in Myanmar earlier this year. This trend is seen picking up pace in emerging economies worldwide, which think they have a national imperative to switch from less cost-competitive oil-based products

If the global LPG fleet is anything to go by, hundreds more small-scale LNG carriers may be required to support economies switching from LPG to LNG, one expert suggests
