UK places maritime in 10-point green plan for net zero emissions

As well as a pledge to end the sale of petrol and diesel cars and vans by 2030, the 10-point plan for a ‘green industrial revolution’ includes financial support for research into greener energies in maritime, which has been allocated $26.5m

Maritime UK said the British government was ‘absolutely right’ to view the maritime sector as critical to meeting the country’s net-zero ambitions and as ‘an engine of the new green industrial revolution’
