South Australia touts world’s largest green ammonia export project
Its state government will develop an export hub to support a green ammonia scheme. The project will extract hydrogen by tapping solar and wind energy for electrolysis of water to produce green ammonia
South Australia-based producers are eyeing ammonia exports to Japan, where plans are in place to use the next generation fuel to fire-up power plants. The state is pumping in funds to put infrastructure in place ahead of full production
