Liberia-flagged vessel Berlin Trader was sold by a German owner to Chinese interests, with most of the seller’s crew hailing from Europe and the Philippines. Lloyd’s List Intelligence data shows the vessel arrived in Qingdao’s outer anchorage on September 27 — 20 days before the repatriation operation took place
