US oil industry slowly recovering, Dallas Fed says
The pace of contraction has slowed as the business activity index improved from -66.1 in the second quarter of the year to -6.6 in the third quarter
The results are part of data collected from 166 energy firms by the US Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas during September 9–17. Of the respondents, 112 were executives from exploration and production firms and 54 were from oilfield services firms
