DNV GL foresees maritime energy demand peaking by 2034

The DNV GL Energy Transition Outlook anticipates that by 2050, maritime demand for oil may be just 6% of what it is today

Coronavirus has severely affected the energy market and DNV GL anticipates that the situation will not be reversed. Global energy demand is expected to drop annually between 6% to 8% through to 2050 from what it would have been if the pandemic had not broken out
