Brittany Ferries seeks state aid after 75% fall in passengers

UK quarantine rules have added further pain to ferry operators. The French government is reportedly working on an aid package after Brittany Ferries warned turnover would fall $296m this year.

Brittany Ferries has axed two services, idled half its fleet and sought French government aid after its passenger numbers fell 75%. UK quarantines for arrivals from Spain and France have worsened demand for ferries, already suffering from Brexit uncertainty last year
