Panama strives to become top maritime hub

Panama has ambition to become a leading maritime hub within the next 10 years, according to a panel in a recent Mare Forum webinar. But it will need investments in infrastructure such as bunkering activities

Infrastructure was crucial to attaining Panama's vision of being a top maritime hub. The country, which is trying to shake off a bad reputation created by the Panama Papers scandal, is progressive with equal opportunities, said the female-strong panel, which was celebrating 10 years of Wista’s presence
