Hyundai Heavy wins $70m orders for two product tankers
The first few months of the second half of 2020 have been good for Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, formerly known as Hyundai Heavy Industries, as a pair of product tanker orders have added to the slew of other tanker newbuilding contracts sealed in the past few months. The yard is using all its capabilities to meet demand, roping in a joint venture yard in Vietnam to help out with one of the vessels
The vessels have been ordered by an Asian and a European owner. They are due to be delivered in the second half of 2021
