Höegh LNG seeks long-term FSRU contract coverage
In what is seen as a first for the market Oslo-based company says gas is currently cheaper than coal, which could boost demand for liquefied natural gas carriers or FSRUs
Höegh LNG says it is looking at long-term contract coverage as demand for gas starts to recover ahead of the winter season. Since gas is currently priced more cheaply than coal, the Oslo-based company sees stronger demand for LNG carriers or floating storage regasification units and is in final tender processes for some new projects
