Economic slowdown because of the coronavirus outbreak will have a knock-on effect for oil products demand in Asia this year. But, surplus products supply due to the recent floods in China could provide some employment to product tanker owners in the near term as full storage tanks lead to more exports
Oil products demand in Asia-Pacific is expected to fall by 1.8m barrels per day year on year in 2020, according to consulting firm Wood Mackenzie
