MSC Gayane crew member admits cocaine trafficking
The fourth engineer on MSC Gayane, Vladimir Penda, has pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 5 kg or more of cocaine on a vessel subject to US jurisdiction
Law enforcement agents seized 18 tonnes of cocaine loaded in containers on MSC Gayane when they boarded the ship on June 17 last year on its arrival at Philadelphia’s Packer Marine Terminal
