Equinor sets carbon target for marine fleet
Energy company aims to lower the carbon intensity of its tanker fleet by 45% initially by running on low-carbon fuels such as liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. In the longer term, it plans to adopt zero-emission fuels
The oil and gas producer has tankers that burn LNG on hire already and is set to embark on large-scale use of LPG as marine fuel from next year
