Wood Mackenzie sees China increasing oil demand in the second quarter
China’s oil demand expected to reach 13m bpd in the second quarter of 2020, a 16.3% increase over the first quarter, while overall oil demand will rise 2.3% to 13.6m bpd for the second half of the year, compared to the corresponding period in 2019
Despite some pockets of recovery in China's oil demand for the rest of the year, Wood Mackenzie consultant Lei Yujiao warned of external risks that could set the country back
