Maersk climate targets unaffected by coronavirus
Maersk is part of a new Danish initiative to develop a production facility for sustainable fuels in Denmark, with the ultimate use to bunker its ships with methanol. While the coronavirus backdrop has largely dampened financial prospects for the industry's foreseeable future, Maersk is committed to previous decarbonisation targets, which will require considerable investments and capital expenditure
The company is sticking to its 2030 and 2050 decarbonisation targets and continues to explore zero emissions fuels
