When the large containership Hyundai Hope docks at the port of Wilmington, North Carolina today, at 13,154 teu it will be the largest ship yet to call there — and will be a symbol of success for major changes at the port and its shipping channel up the Cape Fear River
After Wilmington, Hyundai Hope will call at Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia, two other east coast ports that have invested heavily to attract discretionary cargo now pouring through the Panama Canal
