Unions call for clarity on furlough fears
Unions say it is unclear whether some seafarers can avail of the UK government’s furlough scheme as more companies lay off staff. Stena Line has furloughed 600 staff and P&O Ferries 1,100 as the ferry industry fights for survival, while the Irish government announced funding to keep critical ferry routes open
