World leaders pressed to resolve crew change crisis

ICS and ITF have called on G20 ministers to identify sea ports and airports where crew changes can take place. Delaying the ability of crews to embark and disembark is not a viable option considering the likelihood of marine accidents increasing as seafarers' physical and mental health is now put at risk

The movement of seafarers and marine personnel, including crew changes, is essential to a functioning international shipping industry responsible for moving the bulk of world trade, ICS and ITF said in a joint letter to G20
