Singapore exempts maritime from virus-linked suspension
From next Tuesday, the maritime nation of Singapore will suspend non-essential business activity for one month in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus. However, given its status as a key economic sector, maritime will be exempt from this month-long suspension
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the suspension would not apply to economic sectors deemed ‘strategic’ or that ‘form part of a global supply chain’
