US carriers seek approval for ‘co-operation agreement’ from FMC
Crowley Logistics senior vice-president Steve Collar told Lloyd’s List the agreement was made so carriers can quickly react to manufacturer shutdowns and supply chain displacements
The so-called ‘Caribbean and Central American Co-operative Working Agreement’ would cover the trade between ports on the US Atlantic and US Gulf coasts — inclusive of Puerto Rico — and ports in 17 nations across the region
