Singapore bunker sales slow but still beat forecasts

Bunker sales came off from January highs, but beat expectations by posting a year-on-year increase. A fall in containerships calling at Singapore did not help lift bunker sales over the past month, although box throughput rose on year, attributed to volumes diverted from China

Ships lifted 3.88m tonnes of bunkers in Singapore last month, down from 4.51m tonnes in January but up from 3.78m tonnes in February
