Queensland ports exempt some vessels from entry restrictions
Country-specific exemptions for New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and certain unspecified southwest Pacific nations, which would be defined by specific island states, will be granted. Maritime Safety Queensland was silent, however, on vessels plying major Asia-Oceania trades from transhipment centres such as Singapore and Port Klang
