The Lloyd’s List Podcast: Getting ready for the awards

Stuck at home because of the coronavirus restrictions? Now could be a great time to get your Lloyd’s List Awards entry ready

In this special episode of the Lloyd’s List Shipping Podcast, Editor Richard Meade discusses the forthcoming Lloyd’s List Awards series, answering many of the questions that come up as companies and individuals are preparing their submissions, and setting listeners on the path to success with some sound advice

THE  topics covered include the awards entry process, some guidance on how to approach your submission, the judging process and what you can expect on the big night itself.

If you missed our recent article presenting some top tips on how to enter the awards then it is available via this link and makes for an insightful accompaniment to the podcast itself with information on categories, criteria, rules and deadlines.

The Lloyd’s List Awards have been an annual event now for more than 20 years and continue to go from strength to strength, with a more diverse range of companies in the shipping sector entering each and every year.

For 2020, there will be four regional awards events taking place in New York, Singapore, Dubai and London and the winners from those events will be automatically entered into the online Lloyd’s List Global Awards event taking place in January 2021 to determine the top entry from the winners around the word.
