Low LNG prices to benefit India's gas expansion

AG&P, a private integrated gas developer, is eyeing potential savings to be had by striking a balance from locking in long-term supplies and buying from the spot market. It is one among several companies to have already picked up licences and continues to participate in bid rounds for licences being dished out for city gas distribution projects

India looks set to ramp up on LNG imports, having already awarded licences for city gas distribution projects covering 70% of its population, according to one published estimate
