Coronavirus: Indonesians urged not to send crew to China
The Indonesian government has discouraged maritime players, and especially manning agents, from sending seafarers to countries or regions endemic to the coronavirus outbreak. This follows on from air travel bans to and from China and suspension of livestock imports
China is a major importer of Indonesia’s coal and crude palm oil, though trades on these commodities are not seen as affected by the latest government advice
