ICC signs deal to boost digitalisation of global trade and commerce
The International Chamber of Commerce is tying up with the Singapore Government and other major firms from key industries to push digitalisation efforts in commerce and move away from a paper-based system. Partners will support industry-wide efforts and increase trade volume commitments
Top names signing up include APRIL, Japanese trading houses Marubeni Corporation and Mitsui & Co, major financial institutions Mizuho Bank, MUFG Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Sumitomo Corporation, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Tokio Marine as well as Noble, NTT DATA, Sompo Japan Nipponkoa, in addition to DBS Bank and PSA International from Singapore
