US sanctions Cuban firm for facilitating Venezuela’s oil trade
Treasury action against Corporacion Panamericana means property and interests in the property of that company subject to US jurisdiction are blocked, and US citizens are generally prohibited from having transactions with it. The company is judged to have been acting on behalf of Cubametales, a Cuban firm already subject to US sanctions, in prohibited oil and gasoline trades
