ICTSI proposes bid for central Philippines port
The Philippine Ports Authority deems the proposal complies with requirements and will now begin to evaluate the legal, financial and technical merits of ICTSI’s proposal to modernise the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex and the Port of Dumangas within 60 days. The next stage, once it receives original proponent status, would see the bid sent to the National Economic and Development Authority for evaluation, which will go through a Swiss challenge if it clears this stage
The Iloilo-Dumangas bid is ICTSI’s first foray into the Visayas archipelago and would expand its central Philippines’ port network beyond its terminals on the main island of Luzon
