The verdict follows a two-week civil trial before US district judge Michael Simon in Portland, as well as years of disputes in court and before the National Labor Relations Board. ICTSI had signed a 25-year lease in 2010 to operate Terminal 6, but quit the port in March 2017 after operations were halted by labour action
Jurors found the International Longshore and Warehouse Union International was 55% liable and Chapter 8 was 45% liable, although a formal judgment has been delayed
