Sovcomflot sends two tankers to China via Northern Sea Route

Aframax sister ships Mendeleev Prospect and Lomonosov Prospect were bound for China with a cargo of crude oil from the Port of Primorsk. With favourable ice conditions and precise route planning on the eastbound passage, both vessels travelled the entire length of the NSR without icebreaker escort, Sovcomflot said
