Navigator hopeful small gas carriers will strengthen
Navigator Holdings, an owner of liquefied gas carriers, expects a recovery in the smaller sizes later in the year following overcapacity after sanctions on Venezuela’s national oil company released a number of ships from their duties there to ply custom elsewhere in the market
Rates in the very large gas carrier segment have reached levels not seen since 2015, with the mid-sized sector seeing a tightening, Navigator said
