Venezuela offsets US sanctions via ship-to-ship network off Malta
With oil exports dwindling and gasoline in short supply off the back of US sanctions, the South American country has set up a network of ship-to-ship transfers off the coast of Malta to receive supplies of refined products
Lloyd’s List Intelligence data shows that at least 10 chemical or product tankers have undertaken ship-to-ship transfers off the coast of Malta since June 10 as the country seeks to import refined products
