MOL firms up FSRU charter for Hong Kong LNG terminal

Floating unit will supply gas to the Black Point Power Station located in the New Territories and the Lamma Power Station in Lamma Island, as part of the city’s plan to increase power flexibility and reduce pollution

MOL FSRU Challenger, built by Daewoo Shipbuilding in 2017 with a storage capacity of 263,000 cu m, will be delivered to Hong Kong in 2021 when the terminal construction is expected to be completed
