Tanker attacks: Owner contradicts US on cause of Kokuka Courageous explosion

Footage released by the US Central Command shows the crew from an IRGC Gashti Class patrol boat removing an unexploded mine from Kokuka Courageous, about 10 hours after the initial distress call. The vessel's Japanese owner however called claims of a mine attack false and said that crew members saw incoming projectiles before the explosion

While investigations into the causes of the incidents remain ongoing, the video suggests Iran was seeking to erase evidence of its involvement from the scene
