Woodside to source third-party LNG after extending Pluto shutdown
An unexpected glitch has held back Woodside's Pluto LNG plant from starting up after a planned shut-in. Woodside now expects Pluto LNG to restart operations in late June and is looking to source third-party LNG cargoes to meet export obligations
Pluto LNG’s foundation customers are Kansai Electric and Tokyo Gas, with each of the Japanese utility groups having committed to 15 years’ offtake from the plant
