Adani Ports gets Myanmar container terminal approval
Construction is set to start in September, with phase one expected to take 12 months and bring online capacity of between 100,000 and 150,000 teu. Phase two will take another six months and will boost capacity to 800,000 teu
There are already several container terminals in Yangon Port but rapid GDP growth in Myanmar is expected to raise demand for handling capacity
