Mozambique approves ExxonMobil-backed Rovuma LNG project
The project, which is slated to begin operations with two trains, will produce over 15m tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas. It will also produce up to 17,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas each year
ExxonMobil has reportedly issued a shipbuilding tender for eight LNG carriers as offtake deals have been signed for 100% of the output from the two trains
