Houston Ship Channel reopens after chemical spill

Ships are again traveling in both directions in the Houston Ship Channel following a vessel collision Friday afternoon that overturned one barge and left the other damaged, leaking a gasoline blend into the busy waterway. It is anticipated that for the next five to seven days all vessel traffic will be restricted to slow speed
