Award of subsea system contract will secure supplies to Darwin LNG
ConocoPhillips-led Barossa-Caldita joint venture has dished out the first of three key contracts linked to a new gas field development off Australia’s Northern Territory that will extend feed gas to Darwin LNG. The plant currently draws on gas resources from the Bayu-Undan field, which is projected to run out by 2022
The award for the supply of a subsea production system went to Technip Oceania, according to fellow JV partner Santos
