Oakland fights to hold back rising tide
The port has been identified in a study about rising sea levels as part of an area that remains subject to rising groundwater levels and, as such, may benefit from having parts of the shoreline re-landscaped into areas such as beaches, marshes and sub-tidal reefs to help create a resilient shoreline
