Alliance Mineral Assets in deal to produce lithium in China
The tie-up between Alliance Mineral Assets and Jiangxi Special Electric Motor Co will look to export as much as 100,000 tonnes of spodumene each year from WA Bald Hill Mine. These are to be converted to lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate at a plant in Yichun in China's Jiangxi province
A binding JV agreement will be signed by the two parties in late June
