Vancouver coal terminal dredging could be positive for capesizes

Recent approval by Vancouver Fraser Port Authority for dredging works to take place at Neptune's coal terminal should be seen as positive for the capesize market as it is likely to lead to greater efficiency. But works will only be completed in 2020

The dredging works, which should take place from August this year to February 2020, will create deeper water depths at the terminal allowing for capesize vessels to be fully loaded while at berth
