Shipowner 'shocked' by US sanctions listing

Six of the seven tankers owned by Palermo-based PB Tankers have been added to a Specially Designated Nationals list, along with the company, after Washington extended sanctions to cover companies involved in shipping oil to Cuba from Venezuela. But the company says it has taken all steps to be compliant with all US measures

The inclusion of PB Tankers in the Ofac listing will be of great concern to other European shipowners who remain involved in the shipment of crude and other petroleum products to and from Venezuela
