Brexit will see no change in UK port state control, MCA confirms
Britain’s port state control regime will not change whatever happens with Brexit, with EU directive still being observed but no longer binding, according to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency
Luc Smulders, secretary-general of the Paris MOU, said: ‘I don’t expect many problems. We have non-EU members and the UK will apply national legislation to be part of the Paris MOU’
